Managed Operations and Maintenance (O&M) reduces the burden on an organization’s internal staff for patch and vulnerability management, event monitoring and alert management, performance optimization, disaster recovery and quarterly reporting recommendations to improved security compliance while reducing operational downtime.

We offer three options for Managed Operations & Maintenance: Essentials, Standard and Premier.

    • Improved compliance and minimizing data security risks.

    • Quarterly meetings to discuss operations/risks/roadmap.

    • Infrastructure lifecycle management for existing hardware/software solutions.

    • This service supports virtual servers, physical servers, network infrastructure and storage hardware.

    • All supported devices must have active maintenance/support contracts (which Lion Solutions can assist in procuring).

    • If any hardware is End of Support Life or entering the End of Support lifecycle, we will identify those devices and work through a procurement strategy for successor product or subscription.

    • During the discovery call there would be more clarity and adjustments to pricing based on existing infrastructure and requirements mapped toward the support plan options.

    *Note: Most infrastructure platforms will be managed and supported under any Hybrid/Onsite support model contract.  Will discuss during discovery.

    Infrastructure device cost:

    • Printers/MFDs, Desk/Conference Phone/Handsets, Wireless Access Points: $25 - $50 per device monthly

    • Switches, Routers, Servers (physical/VM’s), Firewalls, Wireless Controllers, A/V Hardware: $50 - $75 per device monthly

  • Includes:

    • Windows OS Server patching to all production VMs and Hosts (cloud/onprem).

    • Windows OS Server vulnerability updates to all production VMs and Hosts.

    • OS Patches/vulnerability updates to virtual infrastructure (VMWare / Hyper-V / Azure VM’s / AWS EC2).

    • Verify event audits for system/security/application logs insight on health of the environment including health check of cloud VM’s.

    • Verify advanced endpoint protection agents are running/active/scanned from each endpoint.

    • Verification of LEDs for physical infrastructure reporting faulty or un-healthy status (onsite-only).

  • Includes:

    • All components of the Essentials Maintenance Plan.

    • Firmware updates to physical hardware infrastructure, if applicable.

    • Firmware updates to network/security/storage infrastructure, if applicable.

    • Supporting domain service problems or event/health check reported issues.

    • Provide monthly health check and patch/vulnerability status deliverables.

    • Provide infrastructure research, roadmap and planning of any future initiatives including hardware/software quotes and procurements.

  • Includes:

    • All components of the Standard Maintenance Plan.

    • Disaster Recovery testing.

    • Failover exercises.

    • Data file restoration exercises, when applicable. 

    • Work on mitigation of any audit or compliancy risks that are active.

    • (Semi-annual contingency testing or could be more frequent.)
